We provide you with all the information for the integration of the DPD and primetime parcellabels into your systems. Even if the path of Integration is the most complex variant, it also offers a number of advantages. In addition to the independence of connections and server systems in case of DPD, the implementation can be designed in a way that the shipping process works seamlessly.
Please inform yourself prior to the implementation about our other offerings. Our free WEB.Service is an easy to implement Alternative that saves you costs on your side. The complete program logic happens on our page, and also any future Changes will be done free of charge. With the WEB.omat you can also automate the shipping process to a large extent. The free Software is running locally and processes files that you create if you want to print a label.
If you decide for the Integration of self-implement, we have provided all of the necessary information. Essentially, there are three subjects which you have to address:
Route process
The Route is adapted in the new Version completely. The routing database has a new Format and is provided in shorter intervals. In addition, the process of route determination has been completely redesigned. You can use our WEB.Service for the route determination.
Label Layout
On the label, there are also predetermined adjustments. The Layout has been fixed with regard to font sizes and arrangement of the information. All customers must correspond to the specified Layout. In addition to the existing Code128 a 2-dimensional Barcode (Aztec Code) is provided. In this Code, the order data is included in the parcellabel and can optionally be recorded. Before the redesigned labels are used, they must be checked and approved by your local shipping depot. The release process is described in the parcellabel specification and also includes the order data.
Order data
In order to optimize the packet flows, a full-data collection will be necessary. So the parcel can be sorted gently and delivered efficiently. In order to have this data available in a timely manner, it is mandatory to provide order data to all parcels. The Format of the order data has changed and must be implemented according to the specification. The data must be received by DPD, and primetime before the parcels arrive.
Specifications
The parcel label specification consists of a series of different documents. Some of these documents are valid internationally. Other documents are specifically created for Austria, and has been supplemented. This fact makes the work with the specification more difficult, since the information can be found in different documents. To provide you with a easy introduction to the subject, we have created a guide that summarizes the information in compact and chronological form including the required documents refered to.
